What happens to your CV

Job-hunting while employed is the case this product is built for, so the honest answer to "who can see this" matters more than the feature list. Here it is in one screen. The privacy policy is the longer version, and does not contradict this.

Your data is stored in the EU

The database, your profile and your uploaded CVs sit in Supabase'seu-west-1 region, in Ireland. The CV bucket is private — files are reachable only through a short-lived link issued to you.

Model calls do not stay in the EU, and we will not pretend otherwise

Reading your CV and scoring roles against it means sending text to Anthropic's API. That API cannot be pinned to the EU — the setting offers only the United States or a global pool, with no European option. So your stored data stays in the EU and the model call does not, and anyone telling you both would be wrong about one of them.

Nothing follows you around inside the app

No analytics vendor, session recorder, heatmap or advertising pixel runs on any signed-in page. We record which steps you reach, as labels — never the text of your CV, a job description or a salary figure — and that data goes nowhere but our own database.

We never sell you, and no employer sees you unasked

Employers can ask us to help them hire. They cannot browse people. No profile, CV or match is ever shown to an employer without your explicit yes to that specific role — it is a rule written into the database rather than a promise in a paragraph, and a test fails the build if a route between the two is ever added.

Take it with you, or delete it, yourself

Two buttons in your account: one downloads everything we hold about you as a file, the other deletes the account outright — the profile, what we read from your CV, the files you uploaded, every match and verdict, your applications, and the login itself. Nothing is archived and there is nothing to restore. If you would rather ask a person, eric@dealflow.eu answers within 30 days and usually the same week.

Who else is involved

Supabase holds the database, authentication and files, in the EU. Anthropic reads your CV and scores roles, outside the EU. Resend sends the email. The site runs on a VPS in France. That is the whole list today; it grows only with this page.

Being built in the open, including this page

This page says which parts are not finished, and it changes when they are. Today the email digest and the paid plans are not switched on yet, and accounts are let in by hand. Reading a CV and scoring the open roles against it runs every night, and where that reading happens is set out above. We would rather say that than have you find out.
